Welcome to the information page for our new German inps.de-DNS-Whitelist
The inps.de DNSWL was started on May 18, 2010, and is the counterpart to our very successful inps.de DNSBL.
If you register your IP addresses here it can increase the level of trust of your mailserver to other systems.
A prerequisite for this is that the list itself is trustworthy. For that we implemented several control and security mechanisms. Also, we don't use the data from other whitelists.
Why you should use this list?
If you use it within your spamfilter it can decrease the risk of tagging wanted mails incorrectly as spam (so-called 'false postives'). This could be really annoying for your users.
As it was mentioned above a registration of your mailserver IP addresses here can increase the trustworthiness of your mailserver compared to other systems. Anyone can research information about an IP address in our DNS whitelist and to whom it belongs to because it was also designed as an IP information system. While the registration procedure can you choose how detailed the displayed data will be.
